A brief discription of Tirriokel
Within Tirriokel Nature is our Apex, our God is everything nature is, it's everything that is real; from the smallest tree to the largest waterfall, from the hardiest beetle to the oldest man. This is Nature In Its Entirety.
We don't clumsy around the idea that there is anything greater than nature because nature is the Cosmos and the Minute. Nature is the power of coincidence, the greatest power there is, and the belief that nothing is ever too big or too small to be comprehended. It's the belief that the only God exists within our minds but that God has the power to cover a world far larger than what we may be used too.
Speak these words in Rite.
The Okel's Pledge
"An Okels Pledge I make today,
To follow whichever path I may,
And keep my intentions sound and true,
And my misgivings and unfortunates down to a few.
By this I know I've done my best,
And now I've lived as good as the rest,
The Rede I've remembered from dawn to dusk,
And kept in my heart as I know we all must.
As it were and how it shall be,
The Okels Pledge is a merry Bless'd Be. "
It may seem arrogant for me to come along and tell you to support something that you've probably never heard of and I hope you don't look at this as some tacky way to get my work more widely known.
Simply I do this with the highest sincerity. I've known for too long that the majority of my friends and associates pray so very little and because of this I feel 'direction of thought and mind' is lost.
Performing a rite can stimulate the mind into a straight flowing river that gets your thoughts from A to B as quickly and efficiently as possible and so I suggest this rite simply because I feel it can be accepted by a variety of individuals, no matter what their religion or personal beliefs are.
I say this rite every morning and doing so snaps my mind into a train of thought and gives me a routine from the moment I open my eyes. It's helped me greatly, and if not this poem then choose another in which your 'direction of thought and mind' can begin.
Good luck, whatever happens I hope you find the power of prayer as helpful as me, even if you are as athiest as I am.
